Products and Services

EMS

Comprehensive, one-stop services, from planning and design to production of compact, light-weight devices

We propose optimum combinations of products and services in a one-stop format, starting from consultations on connection interfaces with customers’ existing products and additional sensor technologies that increase product value. We also offer our insights into providing additional services that are best suited for the customer on selecting communication lines, data analysis, AI, cloud services, and the construction of on-premise servers. In order to ensure a positive outcome in the proof of concept stage, we conduct studies with a strong awareness of the volume production stage, and with a view toward practical business situation.
To give you one example, in the field of long range (“LoRa”) communications, during the Corporate Ekiden (a long-distance relay race) held on January 1, 2020, we provided a compact, lightweight LoRa GPS device that minimized the burden on runners. We also provide battery-operated LoRa vibration sensors for industrial applications, and have shipped thousands of units, mainly for use on plant manufacturing lines operated by major manufacturers.

Ai-Glies

A next-generation energy conservation system specially designed for air conditioners
Supporting energy conservation through detailed control driven by IoT

With solar power supply and wireless communications driven by IoT technologies, this system dramatically reduces wiring construction costs, and can even be introduced in small-scale facilities, where it was difficult to achieve the merits of cost effectiveness with such installations in the past. This product helps to reduce customers’ costs, while at the same time contributing to resolving societal issues such as energy conservation and reducing CO2 emissions.

Features of Ai-Glies
  • Controls outdoor units to achieve low power consumption A/C operations, reducing both electrical fees and CO2 emissions
  • Detailed, automated control in keeping with seasonal and weather conditions
  • By lowering peak usage, it is expected to contribute to even greater reduction effects

Multi-SIM

Maximize coverage area and connect to any carrier with a single SIM card depending on those carriers’ signal conditions
When one carrier’s signal is down, automatically switch to another carrier, and combine contracts and invoices as well

1枚のSIMで、3つのキャリアにつながる

In the field of LTE communications, we began offering Japan’s first multi-SIM communication services which allows maximization of service areas. More than 10,000 of these units are already in operation.
Multi-SIM communication services offer an entirely new approach to the concept of carrier selection, which had been an issue in service area design. With a single SIM contract, consumers can use base stations operated by three carriers—NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, and SoftBank—and the router itself chooses the optimum carrier depending on the terminal’s location. If the carrier network currently in use goes down, the system connects to the next accessible carrier network to maximize the availability of communication services.
Multi-SIM makes it possible to provide communication services that cover the service areas for Japan’s three largest carriers. As a result, customers, who we provide Multi-SIM communication services to, are able to reduce the costs of signal surveys , optimize service areas to expand profits, and maximize service availability, which is the main source of customer satisfaction.

Highly Secure Networks

Preparing for a new invoicing system in 2023

We offer multi-connection gateways to enable flexible mutual connections among increasingly diverse networks both inside and outside of the user company. At the same time, using closed network connections, we have achieved a high security network environment for core corporate operations. For users that have no access to specialized network environments, we use 5G and Internet connections to offer similar services through security gateways.

Live Location Service

Positional information solutions that meet a wide range of customer needs

Social Area Networks Co., Ltd. developed an original positional information service called Live Location Service, and offers a wide range of positional information in keeping with customer needs.
This innovative solution service makes it possible to easily build LoRa networks using Jcard devices, Jbox network management servers, base stations, and relay devices. Positional information from Jcard is aggregated on the Jbox server, and that data is provided through APIs to enable increased efficiency in operations that apply that information.
We have received inquiries from a variety of industries for the introduction of these services, as well as for Proof of Concept studies.

Work Recorder

New location management systems to monitor the status of operations in the front lines of manufacturing

Have you ever thought about…

  • “I want to quantify our workers’ performance”
  • “I want to calculate the value of workers’ performance based on quantitative data”
  • “I want to use quantitative judgments to decide whether five people are really needed in this location”

Work Recorder’s point and line of movement system shows “people”, “work time” , and “work location”
It is useful in increasing the visibility of work processes

Preventative Maintenance Systems

SmartFactory solutions predict stoppages before they occur

製鉄所 圧延工程

SmartFactory is a preventive maintenance system that identifies abnormalities in the operation of rotating equipment (e.g., motors and pumps) in manufacturing and construction facilities.
Data from acceleration sensors and temperature sensors attached to the rotating equipment is aggregated in an “IoT Gateway (Spiral Box),” so that conditions can be monitored in real time, and abnormalities can be detected.
Sensors can be easily attached using magnets and wireless communications make installation and settings even easier, so that installation man-hours can be reduced substantially.

Remote Monitoring Routers

40,000 routers monitoring the operational status of security cameras

監視カメラ用レコーダや制御機器の沿革死活監視に特化した、LTEルータです。

The revolutionary WS Series Router, WS Series LTE Router, which can automatically switch among three carriers, is specially designed to remotely monitor the operational status of security camera recorders and control devices.

Smart Tracking System

A visualization solution that connects diverse sensors

測る+集める+見える

This system uses information from sensors attached to casters to easily monitor current position and movement.

Data from Hall sensors and acceleration sensors is sent regularly to an IoT Gateway (Spiral Box) connected via wireless communications (EnOcean). The data collected is then linked to a cloud system and presented in a visual format.
Both the sensors and the wireless communications use EnOcean, a compact, energy-efficient wireless technology.

GRM-ONE Basic

Backup for measurement data and camera images

計測データとカメラ画像をバックアップ

This is a service through which customers that have purchased the Graphtec Data Logger series can back up measurement data recorded through the data logger on a “G-DRIVE” cloud server.
GRM-ONE Basic is unique in its own way that its ability to simultaneously replay measurement data and image data. GRM-ONE Basic provides solution to following situations; “it is difficult to obtain data from remote locations, traveling is expensive, and we need data from the production plant, but the workers are not familiar with using measurement devices…” or “the data is sent regularly, but with huge volumes of measurement data, it’s hard to find the space to store it all.”
