Assigned to Europe in the third year.
- An environment that entrusts even young employees with responsibilities.
I am stationed at Graphtec Dutch subsidiary, selling measurement equipment to European
distributors.
During the first three years after joining the company, I worked at GraphTech headquarters in overseas
marketing, and through repeated interactions with local partners my desire to work abroad
intensified.
After the relocation decision was finalized, I took up my current role last summer.
Today I visit distributors in the UK, Scandinavia, Italy, and elsewhere, handling everything from
product proposals and order processing to shipping support.
Because we are a small, elite team, each person carries significant responsibility, but the autonomy I
have enjoyed from early on has truly contributed to my personal growth.
The “Graphtec” vibe experienced on site
Graphtec has introduced a flex‑time system and offers highly flexible vacation policies, creating a work environment that is extremely easy to thrive in. On my days off I visit nearby museums (there are about 300 in the Netherlands!) or travel abroad, which helps me maintain a healthy work‑life balance. The workplace culture is one where supervisors and colleagues feel free to discuss issues openly and support each other, giving me the sense that I can work in a safe and supportive environment.
